Overview

Discover classical India like never before with our 10 days and 9 nights package. The package will give you a wonderful insight into the religious and cultural heritage of incredible India that cannot be seen elsewhere. During your tour, you will experience something different and unforgettable in each city. Delhi will offer a combination of everything like magnificent forts, mosques, food and shopping. Agra will take you back to the golden period of the Mughals. Jaipur will offer you a glimpse into the grandeur of Rajputana’s and Varanasi will lift up your religious spirits.

Trip Highlights

  • Full-day excursion to major tourist attractions covering Birla Mandir, Qutub Minar, Red Fort, India Gate, Jama Masjid, Humanyun Tomb, and President’s House.
  • Guided tour of Fathepur Sikri to explore attractions like Salim Chisti’s Tomb, Jama Masjid, Panch Mahal
  • Excursion to Taj Mahal
  • Visiting the City Palace, Palace of Winds, Natural observatory, Birla Temple etc. In the evening we will have an excursion to Amber fort.
  • Visiting its Eastern & Western group of temples.

Itinerary Details

Day 1: Delhi 

  • Upon arrival at Delhi International airport meet with our company representative at the airport arrival lounge. After meet and greet we will transfer you to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2: Delhi (Sight Seeing)

  • After breakfast we will go for a full day temple tour of Delhi visiting Laxmi Narayan Temple, Hanuman Mandir, Gauri Shankar Temple, India Gate, Qutab Minar, Chattarpur Temple, Bahai Temple and Akshardham Temple.

Day 3: Delhi – Jaipur (260 km)

  • Morning after breakfast drive to jaipur. Jaipur popularly known as the Pink City, built in 1727 AD by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II.
  • On arrival at Jaipur, check in at pre-booked hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4: Jaipur

  • After breakfast full day sightseeing of Jaipur. Explore the city with an excursion to Amber Fort, situated just outside the city, enjoy the experience of ride on elephant back to and from the top of the hill on which the fort is situated.
  • Also visit the Central Museum, Jantar Mantar – the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen, all monuments are located in the vicinity of City Palace complex of Jaipur. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5: Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra

  • After a quick breakfast we will leave for Agra. En-route to Agra we will stop to visit Fatehpur Sikri, the Mosque built by Emperor Akbar in the memory of Sheikh Salim Chishti.
  • Further continue drive to Agra. Upon arrival check into the hotel.
  •  After fresh-n-up we will visit the Agra fort, built by Akbar in 1565 as a military establishment. The Fort was made by red sandstone. During the reign of Shah Jahan it was partially converted into a palace.
  • Further we will visit the famous Taj Mahal at dusk. Evening return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6: Agra 

  • Early morning visit to witness incomparable Taj Mahal with it’s speculative view at the time of Sunrise (closed on Friday).
  • Later visit to Agra Fort from where one can get the most moving view of the Taj from the little octagonal tower in the Agra Fort, which lies, across the river Yamuna. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 7: Agra – Jhansi (By Train) – Orchha – Khajuraho (174 KM)

  • Early Morning Transfer to Railway Station to connect Train Shatabdi Exp. for Jhansi After arrival drive to Khajuraho via visiting Orchha historical site with magnificent temples and monuments.
  • Visit Jehangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, Raj Praveen Mahal, Chaturbhuj Temple, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Orchha Palace and Panoramic view of Betwa River.
  • Continue your drive to Khajuraho. On arrival check into hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Khajuraho – Varanasi

  • Morning at leisure. In the afternoon we will transfer to the airport to board the flight for Varanasi – the religious capital of Hindus since times immemorial and a place of devotion and worship with hundreds of temples doting the city.
  •   Upon arrival at Varanasi airport meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 9:  Varanasi

  • Morning boat cruise at the river Ganges to observe the way of life of pilgrims by the Ghats. Later we will have an excursion to Sarnath.
  • It enjoys the extraordinary privilege of Lord Buddha delivering his first sermon after attaining enlightenment 2500 years ago. It is about 10 km from Varanasi and holds a number of Buddhist sites that include the famous Dhamekh Stupa, the seat of the holy ‘Buddha’.
  • You can also visit the ruins of Dharmarajika Stupa and Mulagandha Kuti Temple, where Lord Buddha is said to have rested and meditated while in Sarnath. The Ashoka Pillar built by the emperor Ashoka is a must see in Sarnath. The Lion Capital on top of this pillar is now the National Emblem of India and stands apart for its excellent artistry and carvings.
  •  In the evening visit aarti darshan (light offering) at river bank. After aarti visit return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Varanasi – Delhi

  • After breakfast excursion tour to Sarnath – 10 kms from Varanasi. It was here Buddha preached his first discourse in the deer park to set in motion the ‘Wheel of the Dharma’.
  • Afternoon transfer to airport to connect flight for Delhi.
  • Upon arrival at Delhi meeting and assistance followed by transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 11: Delhi Departure

  • Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to international airport to connect flight for onward destination.

  • Guide charges & Entrance Fees.
  • Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances, etc (to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot).
  • Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.
  • Anything which is not include in the inclusion.
