Package Description
Included
- Room for refreshment on the day of arrival with Kerala style breakfast (Only for Cochin pick up, this will be a Non A/C room either in a homestay or in a normal hotel which is meant only for taking bath and to take rest for few hours, this room will not be comparable to package hotel)
- Accommodation as mentioned on twin sharing basis with mentioned meal plan (CP – you get complimentary breakfast)
- Vehicle as per Itinerary including toll, parking, fuel charges and driver bata Houseboat exclusively for you with all meals which includes welcome drink, snacks, tea, lunch, dinner, breakfast, mineral water etc
- Houseboat check in at 12Noon and cruises till 5:00PM, Boat will be anchored till 8AM and cruises till 9AM for checkout
- For A/C Houseboat, A/C will be operating from 9PM till 6AM only (All houseboat related
- Inclusions are applicable only if the Itinerary is including Houseboat stay
Excluded
- All personal expenses including entrance fees at all sightseeing spots Optional activities mentioned in the itinerary
- Compulsory Gala Dinner On X’mas & New year Eve as per hotel selected (This varies from 500 to 5000 per person).
Booking Procedure
- Once you confirm the package and dates of arrival, do inform respective executive.
- They will be sending an email with all details including our account number as well link to transfer advance through our website
- Once you transfer advance, booking will be initiated
- We check hotel availability and would inform you if any of the hotels selected is not available and will be giving other options with cost difference
- Once booking is completed you will receive Hotel voucher (This takes one to two week depends on rush as we need to get email confirmation from hotels before sending voucher)
- Cab details will be forwarded through SMS one day prior to arrival
- On arrival (Only for Cochin pick up) you will be picked and will be taken to our Customer Relationship Center where we love you meet you to discuss the package to make sure all commitments are clear between both of us and will be collecting balance payment
- This experience helps the entire package much smoother and to have a better relationship between us, You can do balance payment as Cash, DD, Net transfer, Credit or debit card, we do not accept cheque
- If you don’t want to visit us or if your arrival is not at Cochin, please inform us in advance and should do balance payment before arrival
- We will be providing all necessary documents during this visit
- For Non Cochin arrival, full payment should be made at least one day
Terms & Conditions
- Rooms will be Non A/C at Munnar and Thekkady for all packages (if package has Munnar or Thekkady).
- Above rates are calculated on the basis of hotels and room types mentioned
- In case room type is not mentioned, calculation is based on the base category room in the hotel
- Booking will be conformed only after receiving advance payment and on availability of hotels mentioned, we do not block rooms at the time of sending confirmation
- In case of non-availability of rooms in the mentioned hotels, this will be communicated to you and will give you different options and rate of package will increase or decrease depends on the hotels selected
- In case you are not convinced with the new options, advance paid will be refunded to you without deducting any service charge and this need to be communicated to us in one day’s time after receiving the new hotel list there will not be any change in the hotels mentioned without your concern
- We suggest you to check reviews and location of hotels mentioned to make sure it is as per your preferences before conforming the package and change of hotel on arrival would charge retention
- OSR Vacations does not have any hidden charges except your lunch, dinner (All food in houseboat is included) and personal expenses
- During the journey if someone asks for extra money, you may inform us and we will not be responsible if you pay the amount without our concern
- Any extra bed/breakfast for kids which is not mentioned has to be paid directly by guest
Day 1: Place: Cochin to Munnar(135km/5.5hrs), Hotel: camelia and elettaria(22 km from munnar town), Room type: mountain view room, Mealplan: CP
- Starts from Cochin and reaches Munnar by afternoon On the way visit Cheyyara waterfalls, Valara waterfalls, Attukadu waterfalls, Spice plantations etc
- Munnar sightseeing and stay at Munnar
Day 2:Place: Munnar(60 to 80km), Hotel: camelia and elettaria(22 km from munnar town), Roomtype: mountain view room, Mealplan: CP
- Sightseeing destinations includes eravikulam national park (Raja Malai), mattupetty dam, tea estates, eco point, spice plantation, rose garden, photo point, honey bee tree, tea museum, blossom park, kundale dam and top station
- (Raja Malai will be closed from February to April mid due to breeding season of Goats)
- Overnight stay at Munnar
Day 3: Place: Munnar to Thekkady(105km/3.5hrs), Hotel: Grand thekkady, Roomtype: Deluxe, Mealplan: CP
- Sightseeing destinations include Periyar wild life sanctuary where you can see wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and more, mullaperiyar dam (you can watch all these only while doing boating in the Lake)
- You can watch martial arts, kathakali, elephant ride, elephant bath, tribal dance, musical fountain and can go for ayurveda massages (all are optional activities with separate entrance fees)
- Overnight stay at Thekkady (During rush time, getting ticket for periyar boating is difficult, you may even book boat ticket in advance through KTDC Lake Palace – 04869 222014 or online
Day 4: Place: Thekkady to Alleppey Houseboat(150km/3.5hrs), Hotel: Alleppey Houseboat - 1 room, Roomtype: Deluxe A/C, Mealplan: AP
- Drive to Alleppey in the morning Check in to houseboat and enjoy the backwaters, scenery and different places for 21hrs in Kerala Style House boats from 12Noon
- In the houseboat you will be greeted with welcome drink, tea, snacks, mineral water, lunch, dinner and breakfast
- Overnight stay in the houseboat
Day 5: Place: Alleppey to Kanyakumari(250km/7.0hrs), Hotel: Sea View||, Roomtype: Deluxe A/C - Sea facing, Mealplan: CP
- Drive to Kanyakumari which is the southern tip of India Sightseeing includes Kanyakumari beach which is the sangam of Indian ocean, Bay of Bengal and Arabian sea Visit Vivekananda rock
- Watch sunset and stay at Kanyakumari.
Day 6: Place: Kanyakumari to Kovalam(90km/2hrs), Hotel: Jasmine Palace, Roomtype: Deluxe, Mealplan: CP
- Watch sunrise and drive to Kovalam.
- Sightseeing includes light house beach, Howah Beach, Ashoka beach
- Kovalam beaches has lovely coconut palms fringe the golden sand
- Overnight stay at Kovalam.
Day 7: Place: Trivandrum/Kovalam(15 to 25km), Hotel: Jasmine Palace, Roomtype: Deluxe, Mealplan: CP
- You can opt for Trivandrum city tour or can spend time at Kovalam beach till evening.
- Sightseeing includes Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple, Kuthiramalika Palace museum, The Napier museum, Sree Chithra art gallery, zoological park, science and technology museum, Kanakakunnu Palace, planetarium
- Temple opens from 5AM to 11AM and 3PM to 6 30PM Museum, Art gallery, Zoo, Planetarium are closed on Monday
- Overnight stay at Kovalam
Day 8: Place: Kovalam to Trivandrum or Cochin drop
- For Trivandrum drop, sightseeing continues at Trivandrum For Cochin drop drive back to cochin (7hrs)
- Our representative will leave you at Cochin/Trivandrum Airport/Railway station/Bus stand and will do necessary support there
