Itinerary Details
Day 1: Arrive Goa- After arriving in Goa railway station ( Thivim or Margao), you will be transferred to your pre booked hotel.
- After reaching, check-in at your hotel & get ready for local sight seeing ( As time permits)
- Enjoy your breakfast and then head towards North Goa. There are a few beaches in North Goa which are very popular among tourists including Baga Beach, Dona Paula, Calangute, and Miramar.
- You can stroll around these beaches and enjoy the special time with your significant other.
- You can also enjoy water sports activities like snorkeling, scuba diving, jet-skiing, and banana boat ride in Calangute. ( On Direct Payment Basis)
- Other places where you can have a great time on Goa Educational Tour are Fort Aguada and the ancient churches in Old Goa.
- The beautiful churches in Goa are a perfect amalgamation of Indian and Portuguese architecture.
- Return to the resort in the evening and have a sumptuous dinner.
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Goa.
Day 2: North Goa / Industrial Visit
- This morning, after having your breakfast, get ready for a drive to North Goa. This part of the state is dotted with some of the most beautiful beaches namely Dona Paula, Calangute, Baga, and Miramar Beach. Along with that, North Goa is home to a number of tourist attractions like Fort Aguada, Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral.
- Spend the day sightseeing around the region. You can begin with a visit to “Cidade de Goa”, the original name given to the ‘City of Goa’ which was established long back and now it is called Old Goa. Pay homage at the Basilica Bom Jesus, which is dedicated to Infant Jesus. The church has the sacred remains of St Francis Xavier. Also, visit other churches including St Cajetan, St Francis of Assisi, Se Cathedral and Church of St. Monica. All these shrines feature a unique architectural style which speaks much about the heritage and craftsmanship of those times.
- Visit the Museum of Christian Art, which is one of its kind museum in Asia. The art hub is best known to house a collection of items like gold and precious stones and Rosaries. You can also visit the Archeological Museum. Later, travel to “Solar Souto Maior”, which is an aristocratic mansion which dates back to the year 1585. The mansion houses a treasure of artifacts.
- Return to Panjim, the capital of Goa. As you drive through the city enjoy viewing its unique colonial architecture. Walk through the city and flip back the pages of the Portuguese history who ruled the state for nearly 450 years. Besides, visit the bustling markets of Goa and shop for gifts and souvenirs. Enjoy your lunch at Panjim.
- Post lunch, head to Baga Beach, which is one the most popular, happening and beautiful beaches of Goa. Enjoy water sports and then you can go for a shopping spree at the Tibetan market.
- Stay overnight at the hotel.
- 06:00am to 07:00am – Pick Up -Pick Up from North Goa Hotel ( Calangute, Baga, Arpora, Nagoa, Candolim, Sinquerim, Nerul Area.) and journey to Mollem National Park Entrance
- 09:00am to 10:00am – Jeep Safari for around 45 min to 1:00 hr through Mollem National Park forest to waterfall
- 10:00am to 11:00am – Dudhsagar Falls Site Walk for 200 meters and relax at the waterfall (Swim with life jackets on & get refreshed at the base of the waterfall. You will get 1 hr to spend here.
- 11:00am to 12:00pm – Back to the Entrance -Jeep Safari back to Mollem National Park Entrance
- 12:00pm to 12:30pm – to the Spice-farm Visit
- 12:30pm to 02:30pm : Guided Tour at the spice plantation followed by Goan style buffet lunch (Veg/Non-Veg). Optional Elephant Ride or Shower to be paid on the spot if operating
- 02:30pm to 04:00pm – to Old Goa Spice plantation to Old Goa
- 04:00pm to 05:00pm – Oldgoa’s church
Visit Old Goa’s church Basilica of Bom Jesus (UNESCO World Heritage sites)
- Later in the evening return back to hotel
- Overnight stay in Hotel
- Have your breakfast in the morning and then check out of the hotel & proceeded towards Goa railway station
